Update to SRA Handbook effective 6th December 2018
The twenty-first version of the Handbook was published on 6 December 2018 (with no changes to the SRA’s Accounts Rules).
In summary the changes are in relation to new rules:
SRA Transparency Rules 2018
These new rules aim to ensure that members of the public and small businesses have the information they need to be able to make an informed choice of legal services provider, including understanding cost comparison data and the regulatory protections that are in place for the public and small businesses.
Not all of the provisions of the SRA Transparency Rules 2018 are effective immediately as some will come into effect at a later date.
